There’s something incredibly simple and indeed, naive about this song because we’re conditioned to think that anything that’s good shouldn’t feel easy, that it requires a certain amount of turmoil and heartache to really mean something.
Sometimes that’s not the case. Sometimes it’s so easy, you have no idea what you’re in until you’re already there. You have no idea how you get there or how it began or what any of it means but there you are. There is so much time for everything, there is so much time and so much space as long as it stays simple.
Lately, thinking too much about things is the most overrated thing I’ve done in years. You only have the rules you write yourself and that changes how everything will turn out. Most things are easier than you think.

Little Red’s new single Rock It left me feeling NOTHING. I really thought it was boring. Average. Whatever.
Then I listened to it again.

And now I love it. How strange. My initial gut-reaction was one of “meh” and I rarely shift from that but I’ve certainly changed my tune on this one.
